Our take on Light Bound
Players who rely on constant visibility may bounce off when the arena disappears beyond the light from characters and weapons. Solo players may also hit a wall in Arcade mode, where the bot stream continues until an inevitable defeat rather than reaching a conventional finish.
What is Light Bound?
Light Bound places players in procedurally generated arenas that become visible through player and weapon light.
Players explore, gather six weapon types and upgrades, then fight friends or computer-controlled opponents. Arcade mode sends one player through an unending sequence of bots, with scoring continuing until defeat. Arena mode supports up to four players and includes five configurable modes, with settings for weapon availability, armor, and one-hit eliminations. Computer-controlled opponents can fill matches when other players are unavailable. A large set of configuration combinations changes how each game is played.
