Our take on Soulstice
The bounce point is the dual-character combat system: players must handle Briar’s melee attacks while directing Lute’s supernatural abilities. Those expecting a conventional single-protagonist action game may hit a wall when encounters require switching between both roles and using Lute’s auras.
What is Soulstice?
Control Briar and Lute, sisters reborn as a Chimera, while they fight Wraiths and other corrupted creatures in the ruined city of Ilden.
Briar uses melee attacks, combos, strength, and resilience, while Lute contributes mystical abilities and battlefield auras. Their powers can be combined to activate transformational abilities. Exploration includes puzzles, hidden secrets, and discoveries about the Order and the sisters’ origins. Weapons become available and can be upgraded, with switching during combat enabling varied combo attacks. Enemy encounters include Wraiths, Corrupted, and Possessed creatures that require different uses of Lute’s abilities. The story follows the sisters’ mission to reach a Tear in the Sky and uncover the plan behind the city’s destruction.

Soulstice compared to similar games
