Our take on Soul Locus
Instead of relying only on fixed towers, this tower defense game ties its defensive roster to collectible cards, creature training, and material-based crafting. That shifts part of the genre’s usual focus from battlefield placement to building and developing a team of Guardians.
What is Soul Locus?
Soul Locus is a creature-collection tower defense game set in Dalifor, a world threatened by the Corruptors.
Players take the role of a Luminary and summon Soul Guardians using cards. Battles involve building a team and defending against enemy waves across levels. Guardians can be collected, trained, customized, and leveled up, while crafting combines materials to discover new Guardian recipes. Materials come from quests, battle rewards, or breaking down cards. Each Guardian belongs to one of six types that shape its strategic role. The game also presents a story featuring fellow students Chip and Victoria. The vendor describes more than 7 levels and over a dozen added Guardians since launch; more than 80 Guardians are planned for final release.
