Rather than keeping tower-defense play on one kind of battlefield, the game moves between grasslands, deserts, hills, forests, and tundra. Terrain and changing wave modifiers shape defensive choices, while boss loot and house upgrades add progression beyond placing towers.

Defend Magonia across grasslands, deserts, hills, forests, and tundra.
Adjust strategy to the terrain and opposing forces, which include humans, orcs, ogres, bosses, and other enemies. The arsenal includes eight base tower types, each with three base tiers and two special tiers. Each special tower has four further upgrade choices. Meteors, reinforcements, five upgradeable spells, and a skill tree with around 100 skills and spellcards expand the available options. Items looted from bosses can be equipped by towers, while leveling up the house adds skills for towers or spells. The game features around 20 maps, a challenging endgame, and wave modifiers that change factors such as enemy numbers and strengths.
