Our take on Somewhere on Zibylon
Rather than following a single exploration campaign, the game links station-level drone missions with planetary control through an orbital module. Progress in one mode opens technologies for crafting in the other, joining puzzle exploration and resource management in a two-mode structure.
What is Somewhere on Zibylon?
A repair drone arrives at Zibylon after contact with the planet’s control center is lost.
The game alternates between two modes: Planet Control, where the orbital module searches for captured stations and gathers resources, and Drone Mode, where the drone explores stations, solves puzzles and uses stealth around alien enemies. Progress in Drone Mode unlocks technologies needed to craft equipment in Planet Control. Players can install weapons and reinforced hulls on the orbital module, destroy defensive weapons, and capture stations and mines. Exploration spans the planet and its space stations, with environmental puzzles, resource extraction, crafting, research and combat forming the main activities.
How Somewhere on Zibylon plays
