Is Soft Body worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Action players who enjoy controlling multiple characters at once
- Puzzle-oriented players who want environments to change through movement
- Players seeking calm presentation with demanding reflex challenges
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a conventional action game with one controllable character may find simultaneous dual control demanding
- Players who prefer a relaxed, low-pressure pace may find the tense hazards and higher-difficulty modes too intense
- Players looking for a long-form narrative adventure may find the level-based structure too focused on mechanical challenges
Our take on Soft Body
The dual-control design creates a clear trade-off: managing both snakes at once adds depth to movement and hazard avoidance, but also raises the coordination demand. The calm presentation does not remove the pressure of its tense action or demanding modes.
What is Soft Body?
Control two gooey snakes at once in an action game where movement paints the surrounding world.
That painting changes the environment, exposing new hazards and challenges. The game combines tense action with a calm, contemplative presentation. It includes 100 levels and four modes, ranging from projectile avoidance to highly demanding challenges. New Game+ is available for Soft Game and Hard Game, with altered mechanics and redesigned levels for players seeking additional difficulty.
