Our take on Slime-san: Superslime Edition
The wall of stomach acid sets the central pressure: players who struggle with fast movement may hit a wall while jumping, dashing, and sliding through the early worm stages. The later campaigns add their own level structures, so the pace is not limited to one escape sequence.
What is Slime-san: Superslime Edition?
Slime-san: Superslime Edition is a fast-paced platformer that bundles three campaigns: Mama’s Madness, Blackbird’s Kraken, and Sheeple’s Sequel.
Their levels send Slime-san through a worm, out of a Kraken, and into a set of stages shaped by a character who recodes himself as a villain. Jumping, dashing, sliding, morphing, and time mechanics form the core movement. The game includes 150 normal and New Game+ levels, plus 10 extra levels featuring Grandpa-san. Four hubs contain characters to meet, while collectibles unlock play styles, clothing, shaders, mini-games, and other items. Additional modes include speedrunning, boss rush, target, and rhythm. A level editor supports creating, sharing, and playing user-made levels. Local multiplayer mini-games, customizable settings, and accessibility options are also included.
