Our take on Slime Dice
Minigames are presented as central to the experience, not just optional diversions: they can affect combat, while the arcade also offers standalone play. The combat pitch likewise centers on Yacht Dice, so its tactical choices remain tied to rolling and rerolling.
What is Slime Dice?
Slime Dice is a turn-based party RPG in which battles use Yacht Dice.
Players create a party of up to eight characters, choosing their appearance, personality, stats, and abilities. Before combat, minigames such as Duck Boat and Sliders can provide bonuses; they can also be played in a Freeplay Arcade, including locally with two players. In battle, players roll three dice and choose which to reroll to form attacks. Weapons have distinct combinations, while defensive options, skills, and spells add further choices. The stated setting is Spegroon, where the party confronts beasts. The game uses an early 3D handheld aesthetic.
