Our take on Slash or Die
The focus on slashing and survival keeps the game centered on direct combat, but sacrifices the climbing and environmental puzzle structure found in Jusant. Limiting the cast to three heroes also leaves less character selection than games built around broader playable variety.
What is Slash or Die?
Slash or Die casts three selectable heroes into a world where serenity has vanished, nightmares have awakened, and humanity has lost its wars and hope for a quiet life.
A group of undead and unliving must save themselves and all of humanity by enduring a difficult path to its end. Players choose one of three heroes and fight enemies with slashing attacks. Death is part of the challenge, and the hero’s actions depend on the player’s skills. The game focuses on violent encounters, a dark setting, and continued progress through a dangerous journey.
