Our take on Sky Is Arrows
Instead of pausing for turn-based commands, the game combines automatically advancing units with real-time repositioning and spell use. Its runs also reject a fixed ending: the Final Boss returns every five Acts, and defeating him leads to another encounter rather than a conclusion.
What is Sky Is Arrows?
Sky Is Arrows is a real-time tactical roguelike in which the player controls a hero and five armies.
Units advance and fight automatically, while the player repositions groups, casts spells, and chooses when to defend or attack. Each battle lasts 10 seconds to 2 minutes, and a full run may take 5 to 30 minutes. Across Acts, terrain, enemy combinations, and modifiers change as threats grow. Chests offer 1 to 3 randomized items, from a pool of 73, and most items can stack up to 30 times. The Final Boss returns every five Acts; defeating him does not end the game. The player can choose among nine heroes, each with distinct abilities and army synergies.
