Our take on After All
Instead of treating the defeat of the main villain as the conclusion, the game makes it the starting point. Its RPG structure turns attention from gaining power for a final battle toward coping with fame, temptation, boredom, and relationships after victory.
What is After All?
After All is an RPG about what follows the defeat of a Demon Lord.
The player’s young hero and companions have spent their lives preparing for a near-certain victory, only to face life after the central conflict ends. The game examines how they respond to fame, power, reduced challenge, and the expectations placed on celebrated heroes. Possible paths include becoming idle and self-indulgent, turning against weaker people, or finding direction through friendship and love. Rather than focusing on the usual campaign to save the world, it explores the consequences of that success and the transition beyond childhood adventures.
How After All plays
- 01Post-Victory Story
- The RPG begins with the Demon Lord defeated and follows the heroes’ lives afterward.
- 02Heroic Consequences
- The narrative considers how fame, power, and a life without major challenges affect the young protagonists.
- 03Moral Directions
- The characters may become complacent, abuse their strength, or seek support through personal relationships.
