Our take on Silver Chains
Players who expect to confront enemies will hit the main wall during monster encounters: the game removes combat and requires running or hiding instead. A second sticking point arrives for those seeking open-world exploration, as the experience remains focused on uncovering secrets inside one abandoned mansion.
What is Silver Chains?
Silver Chains is a first-person horror adventure centered on story and exploration.
After a storm-related crash, Peter awakens inside an abandoned mansion in England with no memory of how he arrived. Searching for an escape leads him through the building, where clues reveal its history and suggest that he has visited before. Puzzles open sealed areas and connect the mansion’s mysteries to Peter’s past. Paranormal events, dark corridors, thunder, an eerie soundtrack, and English voice acting support the setting. A hostile creature pursues Peter through the house, but combat is not available; survival depends on running away or finding somewhere to hide.
