Our take on Endless Nightmare
The murder-investigation premise may suggest a conventional detective game, but the main play loop also depends on ghost encounters, hiding, running, and jumpscares. Puzzle solving shares the mansion with survival sequences, so the experience is as much horror evasion as clue gathering.
What is Endless Nightmare?
Play as James, a police inspector investigating the murder of his wife and daughter inside a mansion.
Explore rooms, open secured doors, and gather clues about the killer while listening for a ghost's approach. Survival involves running, hiding in closets or beneath tables, and using objects such as vases or cups to distract the apparition. Parts for a taser can also be collected and assembled to confront it. The game presents a connected horror story with multiple endings and several difficulty modes. Its first-person structure combines mansion exploration, puzzle solving, stealth, chase sequences, jumpscares, and environmental sounds.
