Our take on SHIPS AT WAR
The ship editor and physics-based combat focus the game on naval construction and engagements, leaving less room for broader campaign systems, character progression, or combat outside fleet warfare.
What is SHIPS AT WAR?
Ships At War is a physics-based naval game set between 1918 and 1945.
Players design vessels for a fleet in the ship editor, then command them in battles. The game includes more than 40 pre-built warships, including battleships, aircraft carriers, and submarines. Combat uses large-caliber shells, torpedoes, aircraft, and depth charges, with flooding affecting ships during engagements. Players can select a faction or sink ships in battle to unlock historic warships. The game shifts between naval architecture during ship construction and captaincy during combat, combining ship design with direct fleet engagements.
