What is Void Destroyer?
Void Destroyer combines spacecraft piloting with real-time strategy across an asteroid-field war.
Players can fly fighters, frigates, cruisers, and other ships, switch between vessels, or let crews operate them. Battles can involve dogfights, capital-ship engagements, base assaults, and tactical fleet commands. The campaign includes territory conquest, defensive construction, shipbuilding, research, command-ship repairs and upgrades, asteroid mining, enemy-base capture, and story events. Tactical mode provides a battle-map view for issuing orders, while time dilation slows events for tactical decisions. Additional modes include Arena dogfights, Skirmish RTS maps, Instant Action scenarios, and a Battle Editor for creating maps. The game also includes formations, mod support, controller support, tutorials, difficulty options, and a six-degree-of-freedom flight model using Newtonian physics.
