What is Shallow Space?
Shallow Space is an Early Access fleet-warfare RTS built around assembling a taskforce ship by ship.
Players search asteroid clusters and nebulas for resources, complete missions, and recover loot from wrecks to modify their ships. Fleet Commanders develop over time, while operations extend across large playable areas and multiple planetary regions. The project currently offers two playable prototypes: version 2. 0 is available to owners, and version 1. 0 can be accessed by switching builds in Steam properties. The game is in transition, and its systems, presentation, and execution may change. A future version is planned to add free-roaming multiplayer for hundreds of players working competitively or cooperatively toward shared goals.
