Our take on Sengoku:Battle Royal
Rather than making battlefield micromanagement the central activity, the game automates troop clashes and places decision-making in construction, deployments, recruitment, expansion, and defense. Its 60-minute battle-royale structure also replaces a longer campaign with a concentrated contest for every city.
What is Sengoku:Battle Royal?
Manage a daimyo’s country in 5v5 real-time strategy matches lasting 60 minutes.
Build and upgrade territory facilities, recruit ronin, win nearby forces, publish policies, research technology, and deploy armies. Battlefield troops fight automatically, leaving territorial construction, army placement, expansion, and responses to rival attacks as the main activities. Players can launch expeditions against surrounding families, occupy opposing cities, and coordinate with allies. Each match changes through random policy choices, special facilities, factions, and ronin appearances. Completed battles provide rewards, while general cards can raise generals’ levels permanently and carry them into later games.
