Our take on Seek Not a Lighthouse
Its focus on investigation, puzzles, and dialogue leaves little room for action-oriented play. The two-period structure also divides attention between separate characters and timelines rather than following one continuous journey.
What is Seek Not a Lighthouse?
Investigate the disappearance of a mysterious creature and the events connected to it in a retro point-and-click adventure.
The story follows the Silent Traveler, who seeks answers after the death of a man he never knew, and an islander from another period. Switch between these two characters as their experiences reveal different parts of the mystery. Explore the island, examine its strange circumstances, solve puzzles, and interact with an unusual cast of characters. The narrative centers on a final warning sent to the islanders and the Traveler’s attempt to discover what happened, who was responsible, and how the events relate to one another.
