Our take on Seeds of Calamity
Its defining structure is the direct link between dungeon combat and farm development: battles provide resources and progression for expanding the homestead.
What is Seeds of Calamity?
Seeds of Calamity combines seasonal farm management with village quests, dungeon exploration, and turn-based combat.
Set twenty years after the Great Calamity, it follows a young adventurer settling in a frontier village and helping its community recover. Crops, animals, tools, and gathered resources support farm development, while some materials can be sent to the capital. Festivals mark the changing seasons. Outside the village, dungeons contain enemies, bosses, and resources that feed into upgrades and new farm-development options. A magical Spellbook Companion guides the journey, records recipes and quests, reveals hidden treasures, and casts spells during battles. Accessibility settings cover controls, day length, colors, difficulty, and visual presentation.
