Our take on Seed of Life
The store presentation foregrounds an emotional sci-fi story and striking world, while the playable structure is more specific: exploration, environmental obstacles, puzzles, ability collection, and encounters with alien creatures. The dramatic framing does not describe a broader range of mechanics than those core activities.
What is Seed of Life?
Take control of Lumia’s sole remaining survivor as the planet’s sun and life energy diminish.
Travel through a partly open, maze-like landscape containing unexplained places, perilous conditions, extraterrestrial creatures, and concealed discoveries. Collect capsules to acquire unusual powers, work through puzzles, and withstand threats while searching for The Seed, an alien apparatus that can create living matter. The narrative follows an effort to start an ancient mechanism, restore the sun, and prevent Lumia’s destruction. Its science-fiction setting contrasts vivid colors with a bleak future in which almost every living thing has vanished. Progress combines narrative exploration, environmental trials, puzzle-solving, and survival across a dangerous world.
