What is SEDOMAIRI / せどまいり?
SEDOMAIRI is a first-person horror game set in a procedurally generated environment modeled on an old Japanese house.
Players gather every straw figure and try to leave the Sedo, a realm separating the living from the dead, while evading the Angel of Death’s children. A handheld radio gives clues about how far away enemies and figures are and where they lie. Exploring also requires a light; both items run on batteries that must be replenished after use. Custom mode lets players adjust the map’s dimensions, enemy numbers, and other settings, while random layouts make each run different. PS3 controllers are unsupported. If a connected controller interferes with play, the vendor recommends disconnecting controllers and using a keyboard and mouse.
