Our take on SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered
The game replaces a single uninterrupted campaign with selected historical events experienced through different characters. Its two central stories begin separately, then gradually form one account of the world’s history.
What is SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered?
Gustave, heir to a royal family, faces conflict between nations, while Wil, an excavation worker, confronts a threat to the world.
Their separate stories gradually join into one history. The History Choice system lets players select events and play as different characters while experiencing the past in fragments. Battles use the series’ glimmer and combo mechanics and add one-on-one duels. This remaster includes added events, new playable battle characters, and Parameter Inheritance, which transfers stats from one character to another. Recruited diggers can be sent on expeditions and may return with items. Other additions include higher-resolution watercolor graphics, a rebuilt interface, high-speed functionality, New Game+ with carried-over completion data, and augmented bosses.
