OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0 is an RPG set in Orsterra, with a story about restoration and retribution involving divine rings.
Players create the protagonist’s appearance, voice, movements, and favorite dish, then rebuild a hometown through town construction. Allies can be invited to live there, while Path Actions let characters recruit people, engage in battles, and obtain items. Command battles use the series’ Break and Boost systems. More than 30 allies can join the adventure, with parties containing up to eight characters. A skill system allows allies to learn action abilities and pass them to others. The game uses HD-2D visuals that combine retro pixel art with 3D computer graphics.
