Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking deep manual combat may hit a wall with automatic attacks when standing close to zombies.
- Players who dislike survival pressure may bounce off the food system, where running out causes every character to starve.
- Players wanting a fixed team may not enjoy recruiting survivors whose deaths can add new zombies.
- Players looking for a purely combat-focused game may find the room exploration and resource collection interrupt the fighting.
Our take on Run!ZombieFood!
The main bounce point arrives when supplies run low: food is not optional, and exhausting it causes the whole team to starve. Players must also accept that a dead partner can return as an enemy, adding loss management to exploration and combat.
What is Run!ZombieFood!?
Lead a survivor group through rooms and maps while searching for food, medicine, ammunition, weapons, and other supplies.
Additional survivors can join the team, with each partner offering different skills or attributes. The game includes indoor locations, day-and-night changes, ranged firearms, close-combat weapons, and automatic attacks when zombies are nearby. Experience from zombie kills raises partner levels, while a fallen partner returns as a zombie. Characters can starve if food runs out, and a weekly boss appears. Movement uses the mouse, with left-click movement, held left-click forced movement, right-click weapon switching, and automatic pickup and use near supplies.
