What is Rodina?
Rodina is a space simulation built around a procedurally generated solar system with four full-size planets, 50 major asteroids, about 45,000 minor asteroids, and a star.
Exploration includes procedurally arranged alien bases and mines. Combat takes place on foot with a blaster, missiles, and powerups, as well as in space against several alien ship types using five weapon categories. The ship interior can be rearranged and shared with other players. Story material appears through books, emails, and logs, while more than an hour of music accompanies play. An open scripting system supports mods that can be created, installed, and removed.
