Our take on Rocket Rats
Instead of placing rats in a conventional terrestrial survival arena, Rocket Rats moves wave combat to the moon and centers its enemies, resources, and playable cast on cheese-themed space rodents. Persistent skill-tree progression also extends beyond the immediate run.
What is Rocket Rats?
Rocket Rats is a survivors-like action game set on the moon, where rats extract cheese for a space base.
Players shoot successive groups of cheese-themed enemies while avoiding being surrounded. During each run, upgrades can add Star Allies that attack alongside the player, lightning attacks, poison effects, and statistical improvements suited to different builds. Cheese gathered during play can fund permanent improvements and skill-tree progression. The game also includes unlockable rat characters, including a nerdy rodent, a battered soldier, and a mecha-rat. Its structure combines wave-based survival, temporary run upgrades, persistent progression, and character unlocking within a lunar setting.
