Our take on River City Girls 2
The focus on close-quarters brawling leaves little room for stealth or ranged combat. Its branching city and recruit system add variety around that core, but the main activity remains fighting through encounters.
What is River City Girls 2?
Six heroes—Misako, Kyoko, Kunio, Riki, Marian, and Provie—take on a returning enemy in a beat-'em-up journey through River City.
The campaign supports solo play, couch co-op, and internet multiplayer, with branching paths, hidden sections, and changing time of day. Fighting features attacks that break guards, juggling combos, and elemental effects. Each character brings a separate style and upgradeable techniques. Fallen opponents and recruited heavies can join battles, with a maximum of two allies active together. More than 40 stores offer items and accessories. Character-based performances, anime and comic-style scenes, and music composed by Megan McDuffee complete the presentation.
