What is RICE - Repetitive Indie Combat Experience™?
RICE is an action game built around short combat runs in which players destroy planets and their defenders, collect experience, and gather loot.
Each run moves through an entire ecosystem rather than gradually climbing from minor enemies to later bosses. Defeat unlocks weapons and upgrades, while completed runs provide Meta-Currency for additional options. Cards apply across all weapons and combine with upgrades to form different builds. The game removes story-heavy drama, large character casts, and extended progression in favor of fast arcade combat. Death ends a run, while destroying civilizations and worlds supplies new equipment and upgrade choices for subsequent attempts.
