The open structure gives players control over puzzle order, but it can reduce the tightly guided pacing found in linear puzzle games. The focus on light behavior and repeated rules also leaves little room for combat, narrative systems, or broader genre variety.
What is ReThink 4?
ReThink 4 is a puzzle game set in a peaceful futuristic world.
Its puzzles use lasers, light behavior, colors, cubes, and other elements to create problems with changing twists. More than 60 puzzles combine new mechanics with systems from earlier games. Progress is less linear than in previous entries: within an area, most puzzles can be tackled in different orders. Redesigned cubes support more complex puzzles with fewer pieces, while changes to other elements keep relevant information closer together. The game uses Unreal Engine 5 graphics, dynamic global illumination, and Temporal Super Resolution. Players can choose between the original soundtrack and an additional soundtrack.
