The game was rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5 from an earlier unreleased version, placing its puzzle design between ReThink 3 and ReThink 4 while adding a feature not present in the newer games. Graphics settings support a lower visual presentation resembling ReThink 1–3, while higher settings present the futuristic environment with more detail. The rebuilt version is described as running better than the original would have, including on slower CPUs and graphics cards, though system and driver requirements still apply.
