Our take on Replicat
The deckbuilding layer adds variety and strategic choices, but it also makes the matching game less direct. Players must manage cards, curios, upgrades, and modifiers instead of relying on memory alone, which can make individual runs more complex and unpredictable.
What is Replicat?
Replicat combines memory matching with roguelike deckbuilding.
Runs begin with card matching, then expand through effects that reveal additional cards, preserve flipped tiles, use Jokers as wilds, or allow mismatched pairs to succeed. Players shape each run with cards, curios, essence upgrades, and different deck archetypes focused on extra moves, passive reveals, turn manipulation, multipliers, or chaotic effects. The game includes 5 card colors, more than 90 cards, over 80 curios, 5 essence categories, 18 upgrade types, 21 challenge levels, unique boss stages, and 10 starter decks. Randomized challenges and modifiers vary each run, while experience unlocks cards, starting decks, and higher difficulties.
