Our take on Demonic Mahjong
Rather than treating Mahjong as a fixed tile-matching or table-game format, the game places its scoring rules inside a roguelike structure. Deckbuilding, recruitable spirits, relics, events, route decisions, and boss encounters replace the usual single-session progression.
What is Demonic Mahjong?
Demonic Mahjong combines Mahjong-based scoring with roguelike deckbuilding.
Players arrange tiles in hand to create combinations, pursue high scores, and defeat bosses during underworld journeys. The game includes 100 spirit allies, 100 relics, 35 offerings, 17 tile spirits, and 12 tile variants that affect strategies, tile effects, or deck manipulation. Characters have active and passive skills, with upgradeable skill levels. Each run includes route choices, 10 regular events, 90 special events, and battles against 24 bosses. Event decisions influence later battles. Mahjong knowledge is not required, although players familiar with basic Mahjong rules can use that scoring foundation.
