Is Remyadry worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Touhou fans interested in a dungeon RPG rather than other Touhou game formats
- Players who prefer creating a party of characters over using only a fixed roster
- RPG players who want mouse-based controls and shop investment alongside dungeon combat
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a tightly focused cast may find the option to create a party of up to 20 units less suited to that preference
- Players looking for varied activities beyond dungeon challenges, item synthesis, and shop investment may find the scope narrow
- Players who prefer keyboard-only or controller-focused play may not suit the mouse-required controls
Our take on Remyadry
The large, player-built party supports roster management, but it gives up the focus of an adventure built around a small fixed cast. Mouse input is also required, making the control setup a constraint for players who prefer other input methods.
What is Remyadry?
Remyadry is a dungeon-crawling RPG inspired by Touhou Project.
Gensokyo becomes connected to another world, and the dungeon Mazes of the Week appears, trapping Remilia's mansion. Remilia and her companions must work together to clear it. Players create characters, form a party of up to 20 units, and fight through the dungeon. The game uses mouse controls for selecting, confirming, cancelling, moving through lists, and changing parameters. Items can be synthesized and equipped, and players can invest in the shop to make money. The game also allows the use of self-made images. It runs in a 1280×720 window and includes commands for skipping read text, muting, resetting, and forcing an encounter while inside a dungeon.
