Alma is a magical researcher without the funds needed for her work.
She accepts a commission at a tavern after becoming interested in its reward, but the assignment provides few details and leads her to a mysterious client. The game uses traditional turn-based RPG battles in which Alma attacks enemies with magic. During combat, reaching 100 TP activates Magical Boost, increasing her magic power, evasion, and accuracy while granting access to special spells. These effects come with a 50% increase to spell MP costs. After completing the game, a new playthrough retains the levels, money, and spells acquired during the first run.
