Our take on Realm of Ink
Rather than treating death as a simple failure state, the game makes it part of the structure: each defeat opens another attempt to alter Red’s build and challenge the fate governing the ink realm.

Realm of Ink compared to similar games
Realm of Ink centers on repeated action-roguelite runs, build combinations, and changing forms, whereas Ghost of a Tale emphasizes exploration, immersion, stealth, disguises, and conversations in a medieval animal world. Dungeon Defenders: Awakened combines cooperative action RPG play with tower defense, loot, leveling, pets, and character customization rather than Realm of Ink’s run-based combat structure.
