Our take on Radiant Silvergun
Rather than relying only on enemy waves and firepower, this shooter ties scoring to the order in which targets fall and to hidden items. That makes route and attack-pattern planning part of score play, while keeping the structure centered on six stages and boss encounters.
What is Radiant Silvergun?
Set in 2520, Radiant Silvergun follows four crew members of the TETRA spacecraft after a mysterious object destroys humanity.
A year later, dwindling supplies force the ship back to Earth, where the crew fights through six stages and 23 bosses. Enemies attack from every direction across varied terrain. Scoring depends on defeating targets in particular orders, finding hidden score items, and shaping an attack pattern; weapons level up as the score rises. The game has five difficulty levels, a story mode, online rankings, and a mode using rules from Ikaruga. CLASSIC and MODERN options provide different viewing angles and aspect ratios. Keyboard play is supported, including two players on one keyboard, and Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation controllers are supported.
