What is Echoes III?
Echoes III is a 3D retro-style shoot-'em-up with attacks arriving from multiple directions, including the sides, above, and below.
It includes five solar systems and four modes: Echoes focuses on building weapons, shields, and score; Survivor gives one life; Speed Run requires defeating set enemy counts while stopping the clock by destroying the sun; and Big Bang restricts scoring to bombs. Players collect weapon upgrades, shield improvements, smart bombs, and bomb parts. The five systems contain different hazards, including asteroids, quasars, supernovas, neutron stars, flaming comets, and asteroid belts. Steam achievements and leaderboards track progress and scores. The game presents 20 combinations of solar system and mode.
