Defeating enemies at close range awards bonuses, while consecutive kills build chain bonuses. Health and magic regenerate. After a death, unlimited continues let players resume at an unlocked checkpoint, though remaining health is reduced to a small amount. The story is abstract and has no narration. Keyboard controls can be remapped in the options menu. Screen resolution, cel shading, and hitbox appearance can also be adjusted.
