Our take on Q.U.B.E. 2
Its defining mechanic is the use of attached gloves to alter the architecture of a maze-like alien monolith, turning environmental manipulation into the basis for progression.
What is Q.U.B.E. 2?
Play as Amelia Cross, an archaeologist stranded in the ruins of an ancient alien world.
Wearing a suit with attached gloves, she explores a maze-like monolith and changes parts of its architecture to open routes and solve puzzles. Progress leads toward a rendezvous with Commander Emma Sutcliffe, another survivor communicating from a distance, and a possible way home. The game contains eleven puzzle areas and more than 80 individual puzzles, set across varied environments. Its story examines Cross’s purpose and the origins of the structure. Q. U. B. E. 2 also includes colour-blind support through symbol-based aids, new characters, and an original score by David Housden.
