- Horror players who enjoy identifying entities through evidence and equipment
- Players who like exploring large maps with teammates and choosing search locations
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking tightly guided levels may lose momentum while searching large areas and checking maps for suitable locations.
- Players wanting combat-focused action may hit a wall when encounters require identifying entities and selecting defensive responses.
- Solo players who do not have a four-person team may not suit the five-player cooperative structure.
Our take on Psychoscopy
The bounce point arrives when a team must identify an entity before choosing how to defend itself. A wrong response can anger some beings, while large search areas and map-based navigation may further test groups that prefer direct objectives.
What is Psychoscopy?
Psychoscopy is a cooperative horror game for five players.
Teams explore large areas, use specialized equipment to identify paranormal activity, record videos, and collect evidence for publication on the Psychoscopy website. An exploration team provides information about each destination, while players consult hints and maps to decide where to search. The game includes more than 20 entities across four groups: ghosts, spirits, daemons, and mythical beings. Each entity has distinct defensive behavior, so choosing how to respond depends on identifying the creature. Some beings can also be questioned or addressed through an ouija board. Money earned from shared evidence can unlock characters and improved equipment.
