Our take on PowerSlave (DOS Classic Edition)
Rather than keeping movement on a single plane, the game connects floors inside individual levels and mixes bridges, tunnels, and underwater routes. Its Egyptian setting also replaces the more familiar modern or science-fiction combat backdrop with Karnak and Ramses' tomb.
What is PowerSlave (DOS Classic Edition)?
Enter Karnak, an ancient Egyptian city cut off by alien forces, as a covert operative.
Switch between first- and third-person views across over 30 levels spanning the city and Pharaoh Ramses’s tomb. Begin with a machete and find six more weapons, among them grenades, a flamethrower, a heavy automatic firearm, and a cobra-themed magical staff. Traverse bridges, squeeze through tunnels, and swim in submerged grottoes. Stacked Sector Technology lets each level extend across several floors, and changing light produces visual effects during exploration and combat.
