Our take on Power of Ten
The run-based structure trades a fixed sequence of encounters for generated star systems and changing challenges. That variation also means progress depends on adapting a strategy across runs rather than following one set path.
What is Power of Ten?
Pilot a single starfighter and try to save civilians before an armada overruns them.
Each run creates a different journey through procedurally crafted star systems. Gather resources, find weapons and upgrades, and trade with roaming ships as you build a strategy across repeated runs. Resources can power shield generators that protect civilians. The game includes 10 playable ships to discover and unlock, weapon combinations built with a hybrid system, and diverse enemy ships. Explore three regions and progress toward a final battle, encountering special events and secrets along the way. Pixel art is combined with procedurally generated art for the galaxies.
How Power of Ten plays
- 01Hybrid weapon combinations
- The weapon system supports hundreds of possible combinations to equip during a run.
- 02Civilian shield generators
- Collected resources can power generators that protect civilians from the assault.
- 03Roaming ship trades
- Trading with ships encountered in space can provide resources for a run.
- 04Three regions and finale
- Progress through three regions, each with distinct mechanics, before a final battle.
