Our take on phoToq
Rather than centering on combat or puzzle-solving, this horror game makes photographing paranormal events the main task. Randomized goals change what evidence the player pursues between runs, while hiding from the ghost interrupts the investigation.
What is phoToq?
Play as Joseph Karras, a photojournalist sent to a house to document a suspected ghost.
The single-player psychological horror game centers on photographing paranormal events and collecting evidence. Each run assigns new goals at random, so objectives can vary between attempts. A ghost girl reacts to the intrusion and may attack; when she does, the player must find a place to hide and then continue the objective. The house features ongoing paranormal activity and sound effects that keep the setting tense. Runs combine evidence gathering with responding to the ghost’s attacks, with the aim of photographing the ghost and other unexplained events.
