Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a complete story at launch may stop at the 2 available early-access chapters.
- Players who want combat-focused action may find the investigation, evidence gathering, and history puzzles too central.
- Solo players who want a strictly single-player experience may not want a game built around online co-op as well.
- Players uninterested in repeatedly searching a shifting map for clues may find the investigation structure repetitive.
Our take on Lost Lullabies: The Orphanage Chronicles
Players looking for the complete narrative may hit the main wall at the end of the 2 early-access chapters. Those expecting straightforward ghost combat may instead stall during the evidence phase, where identifying the spirit type and solving its personal puzzle drive progression.
What is Lost Lullabies: The Orphanage Chronicles?
Set in 1980, this cooperative horror game follows an investigation of the Lowell Orphanage, destroyed by fire in 1960.
Players search the building, collect clues, determine which of 18 ghost types they have encountered, and use 24 pieces of equipment during the investigation. Each spirit has a distinct history and puzzle; solving that puzzle can either drive it away or bring it peace. The game supports solo play and online groups of up to four.
Its map changes between sessions, while chapters and mini-games open additional areas. A garage serves as a meeting point for selecting chapters, trading items, chatting, and finding hidden easter eggs. Early access includes 2 chapters and 4 ghosts; the vendor plans 2 more chapters for the complete 4-chapter story.
