Our take on Phantom Squad
The focus on lethal, coordinated operations gives up a forgiving solo experience. Friendly fire, limited chances after mistakes, and reliance on squad communication make the tactical structure less suitable for casual play.
What is Phantom Squad?
Phantom Squad is a top-down tactical shooter for solo play or online co-op with up to four players.
Missions combine fast combat with real-time planning, including route, objective, and entry-point marking. Players coordinate movement and positioning through voice chat and in-game tools while facing precision gunfights, friendly fire, and lethal mistakes. More than 20 gadgets cover scouting, incapacitation, heartbeat sensing, breaching, and traps. Online matchmaking pairs players with teammates for missions built around communication and coordinated room clearing.
