Our take on Moros Protocol
The run-based structure trades a fixed path through the warship for changing layouts and challenges. Loadouts also depend on weapons and augments found during play, giving up full control over equipment from one attempt to the next.
What is Moros Protocol?
Moros Protocol is a pixel-painted sci-fi first-person shooter roguelite set aboard The Orpheus, a derelict warship crawling with horrors.
Players battle through blood-soaked corridors, uncover what lies ahead, and adapt their fighting style through weapons and augments found during each run. Levels combine handcrafted environments with procedural generation, producing new layouts and challenges across attempts. Combat draws on fast-paced classic FPS games and includes the ability to kick enemies. Roguelike progression lets players learn, upgrade, and push farther into the unknown. Solo and drop-in cooperative play are available, allowing a friend to join the full game. Low-poly visuals, pixel textures, dynamic lighting, and eerie sound design establish the decaying sci-fi atmosphere.
