Our take on Papetura
Players looking for extensive dialogue may bounce off when the story begins communicating through animation and strange sounds instead. The approximately 2-hour length is another clear stopping point for anyone expecting a longer adventure campaign.
What is Papetura?
Papetura is a short point-and-click adventure set in a handmade paper world.
Players follow Pape, a lonely creature who escapes a flower prison and encounters Tura, a magical being in need of care. Together, they face dark creatures and flames threatening their home. Exploration and puzzles are integrated into the story and environments, with locations, insects, monsters, and other elements constructed from paper. The narrative is conveyed through animation and unusual sounds rather than dialogue. Music by Floex accompanies the shadowed setting. The game is structured as a focused experience lasting about 2 hours.
