Our take on Looped
Rather than using dialogue, combat, or conventional adventure navigation, the game tells its romance through silent animation and small puzzle tasks. Its timeline also moves from the ending toward the beginning and then back again, replacing a straightforward chronological structure.
What is Looped?
Guide two characters, Him and Her, through a silent tale involving romance, rockets, and journeys through time.
Their story begins when a dark void suddenly opens inside a young woman’s home and an unconscious man falls through it. Progress unfolds across chapters as players complete calm puzzles and simple activities while the narrative shifts between its later and earlier moments. The game is presented with hand-drawn, frame-by-frame 2D animation and music created by United Sound. Small hidden surprises appear throughout the experience. Looped draws on an award-winning short film, which originated from a short story by Thomas Costa Freté.

Plug & Play is also an interactive animation, but it presents a surreal universe centered on plugs and has a stated play time of 10–15 minutes. Looped instead follows two characters through a romantic time-travel story, using mini-puzzles and hidden Easter eggs to structure progression.
