Our take on Overhead
Rather than centering on combat or broad environments, Overhead places its exploration and puzzles inside an evacuated underground bunker. Its setup combines a long cryogenic sleep with a search for an exit and the cause of the evacuation.
What is Overhead?
Overhead is a first-person exploration and puzzle game set in a subterranean bunker.
The protagonist, who volunteered for a confidential experiment, wakes after 162 years in an underground area that has been evacuated. The reason for the evacuation is unknown. To reach an exit, players explore contaminated spaces, solve puzzles, and face mutated experiments in the dark. The story centers on Hexagon, a pharmaceutical megacorporation that expanded its cryogenic research from animals to human testing. The search for a way out also leads toward the secrets behind the bunker and the failed experiment.
