Our take on Orbs of Chaos
The store copy foregrounds the large spell, item, enemy, and boss counts, but the core structure remains repeated 21-minute horde runs. Its variety comes from orb selection, randomized encounters, and progression between runs rather than from a long, linear adventure.
What is Orbs of Chaos?
Choose three of five orbs before each run, then combine them during play to produce spells from ten possible combinations.
Runs last 21 minutes and include seven bosses, thousands of enemies, randomized encounters, items, talents, and levels. The game includes 35 spells, 20 permanent talents in a Corruption Tree, more than 20 items, over 10 enemy types, and secrets with additional enemies and bosses. Each orb also provides an automatic attack, such as knockback, life steal, or bouncing effects. Chaos Mode changes settings and grants access to overleveled spells. Hand-drawn retro pixel art and changing music accompany the action in the Realm of Despair.
